NORDIC RIDER ("NORDIC RIDER", "we", "us") operates a peer-to-peer motorcycle rental marketplace launching in Sweden. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

• Account information: name, email address, and role (renter, owner, or both).
• Profile information: avatar, phone number, about-me text, and riding experience.
• Licence information: licence number, issuing country, category, expiry, and a photo of the licence — used to verify that a renter may ride a given motorcycle.
• Listing and booking information: motorcycle details, availability, booking dates, messages between users, and payment records.
• Usage information: pages visited, searches, and analytics events that help us improve the platform.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Operate the marketplace — listings, bookings, messaging and payouts.
• Verify renter licences and identity before bookings are confirmed.
• Communicate with users about their accounts, bookings and the platform.
• Improve and secure the platform, and prevent misuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing information

We share information between users as needed to operate the marketplace — for example, a renter's name and booking details are shared with the relevant owner, and vice versa. We use third-party services for payments, email and analytics, which process data under their own terms. We do not sell personal information.

5. Payments

Where payments are enabled, they are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers. Payment data is handled in accordance with the provider's terms and applicable payment regulations.

6. Insurance-related data

NORDIC RIDER is finalising its rental insurance program. When insurance is active, we may process licence, identity and incident information necessary to administer coverage. Until insurance is active, no insurance data is collected or shared.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Your rights

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
